Text and Hold 'Em

It's Pink Wednesday and I have a luscious hot pink for you!  This is my kind of pink!  OPI Too Hot Pink To Hold 'Em is a juicy hot pink jelly/sorbet from the recent Texas Collection.  The layering options for jelly/sorbets are limitless but they are just a fabulous on their own.

I love the look of a candy mani but I wanted to do something a little more subtle.  You can view my candy mani step by step guide here.  To start this mani I used two coats of OPI Too Hot Pink To Hold 'Em and as you can see above there is still some VNL (visible nail line).  Application for OPI jelly/sorbets is amazingly smooth and they dry super glossy.  I love the way these lacquers glide across the nail.

Next I added one coat of OPI Text Me - Text You, a holo glitter from an older Valentines Day Collection.  Then to create the candy effect I added another coat of OPI Too Hot Pink To Hold 'Em.  The result is subtle but glam.  Have you tried any jelly/sorbet lacquers yet?

Disclosure:  This lacquer was purchased by The Lacquer Factor.
