Turn The Page...

Today's Fabulous Friday mani is the last for 2011!!  Can you believe the year is almost over?  For me it seemed to fly by but I look forward to 2012 because a new year is like a new beginning.  Speaking of new...I want to share with you the OPI Nicki Minaj Collection!!

To start this mani I did a two coat base of OPI Pink Friday.  Unfortunately this lacquer isn't as exciting as the promo pics made it out to be but I still love it.  It's not unique, it's not my typical color choice, but it is a fantastic bubble gum pink creme.  The formula builds to opacity in two coats but if I were to wear this alone I think three would be needed.

Next, I sponged on some OPI Did It On 'Em followed by OPI Fly.  Both of these creme lacquers seem to have a thinner consistency than Pink Friday but build up well.  Did It On 'Em is not an exact dupe for OPI Who The Shrek Are You? or Fiercely Fiona.  They are similar but if your like me, you will have to own all three.

To finish this mani I added OPI Super Bass.  I have been waiting (for what seems like) forever for an OPI purple shatter and this doesn't disappoint!!  Application is flawless and easy to manipulate.  For an added bonus there is slight shimmer in this shatter.  What do you think about this collection?  What will you be wearing for New Years?

Disclosure:  This lacquer was purchased by The Lacquer Factor.
