Champagne Wishes...

And caviar dreams!  Today I wanted to share the Kaviar Mani trend.  There's a lot of controversy surrounding this trend.  I'm going to avoid going there though and focus on how fun this mani looks.  I will start today's mani with Nicole by OPI Nothing Kim-pares To Blue.

Nothing Kim-pares To Blue is a periwinkle blue packed with a silvery shimmer that flashes with pinks and teals.  It's such a refreshing color and I know I will be wearing this one a lot.  Application is easy
and smooth.  Three coats were used to reach opacity.

Now for the fun part!!  I picked up some microbeads at my local Michael's craft store.  They were located in the scrap booking isle and were available in an array of colors.  For this mani I am using the "clear" beads.  These have an opalescent sheen to them, yet they let the color of lacquer show through.  To apply I just dipped my finger into the beads while the last coat of lacquer was still wet and pushed down on the beads.  As it dried I brushed off the excess.  Will you be trying this look?

    1. Good question!! They don't last very long unfortunately. I got a little more than a day and a half. I would use this for a special event only.
