Dancing Queen...

Happy middle of the week to you!  I wanted to show you the whole OPI NYC Ballet Soft Shades collection in one post.  I still plan on showing you some layering options but those will come later.  As I said in a previous post, this is not your typical soft shades collection because there are five jellies and a soft glitter!!!  Application is pretty consistent in this collection and three coats were used for each color except for Pirouette My Whistle with two coats.

My Pointe Exactly
gray toned jelly/sorbet

Pirouette My Whistle
micro silver glitter and white hexagon glitter in a clear base

You Callin' Me A Lyre?
peach toned jelly/sorbet

Don't Touch My Tutu!
white toned jelly/sorbet

Barre My Soul
beige toned jelly/sorbet

Care To Danse?
lavender toned jelly/sorbet

  7. I have used "You Callin' Me A Lyre?" and absolutely LOVED it. I get tips every 2 weeks so one of my favorite parts of getting a neutral shade is that your can't tell as much when your nails start growing out. I absolutely LOVE "Pirouette My Whistle"...I have to try this too! As always, great pictures & review!

    XOXO

  8. I ended up liking this collection much more than I thought I would--I think it's the glitter that made the difference. :)
